Agnes Ponizil, Composer, Vocal Performer and Music Educator as well as Chorus Leader studied Composition and Jazz Voice at the “Hochschule für Musik C.M.v. Weber” Dresden as well as Music Performance and Directing at “Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst” in Vienna.

Performed and taught in many European countries as well as in South America

Soloist and group performer for music improvisation, music performance and composition

Has received grants from Cusanuswerk Bonn (1990-1993), Stiftung Kulturfonds Berlin(1994), and Kulturstiftung des Freistaats Sachsen (Künstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf 2000)

Founded and Leader of the private music school “Studio für Kreatives Musizieren” (2002)

and “ IVI-Institut for Vocal Improvisation” (2008) with courses and workshop program
