Nikola Lea Wulz
Nikola Lea Wulz was born in Stuttgart (Germany) in 1982. Aged 13 she wrote her first composition „Eisvogel“, for which she received the Spezial Prize of the „Musischer Abend Wilhelmsdorf“. Since then she wrote numerous pieces, especially for piano, small ensembles and short films.
Nikola had piano lessons with Rita Jans, Seda Röder and composer E. L. Raphael. In 2002 „Astrida“, a selection of six romantic pieces for piano and flute, was published by Bohne & Schulz. Nikola was commissioned to compose for Sergej Metelskij as well as W. Haas.
After her degree in musicology she studied fine arts and mathematics at the Munich Ludwig-Maximilian-University. In 2008 several of her compositions were recorded and performed in Vienna by Monika Hager (violin) and Sergio Posada Goméz (piano).
