Rainer Hilgers, born *1962 in Krefeld, Germany. After studies first I worked for some years as photographer and graphic designer in Cologne. Later I became an art and managing director in an advertising agency, before, in 2002, I have completely concentrated on the music,  music composing and producing. – Today I am living as free composer in the little town Frechen, near by Cologne.

My compositional ideal is an absolute, multilayeredly associative contemporary classical music, a melody, rhythm and sound esthetics which have immediately to understand and to feel when hearing constructively, without use any further instructions or manuals.
