Tobias Eduard Schick
Tobias Eduard Schick recieved piano lessons from the age of 10 in Ochsenhausen, from 2004 in Biberach from Annette Rinderknecht-Herrmann and since 2001 lessons in double bass from Uwe Martin in Biberach.
Attempts at composition date from age 11. In 2004 he played the solo part in Grieg’s piano concerto with the Ochsenhausen Young Musicians Orchestra. At this time various works for different ensembles were premiered, including “Passacaglia” for chamber orchestra early in 2004. Since the beginning of 2005 has received composition tuition from Dr. Ernst Helmuth Flammer, since the beginning of 2006 double bass tuition from Peter Krauß. Since October 2006 has been studying composition with Dr. Ernst Helmuth Flammer and double bass as a second major with Prof. Peter Krauß at the “Carl Maria von Weber” conservatorium in Dresden.
